Position Overview: In the role of Structural Engineering Associate, you will play a vital part in assisting the team with the evaluation of residential structures. Your contributions will include ensuring adherence to building regulations, executing structural analyses, and aiding in the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Analyze and interpret local and national building regulations to guarantee that all designs and constructions fulfill legal standards.
  • Structural Analysis: Conduct structural analyses to ascertain load requirements, material capacities, and design specifications for residential developments.
  • Design Assistance: Support the creation and modification of structural designs and blueprints for residential buildings. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive reports, drawings, and specifications related to structural designs. Ensure meticulous records of calculations and design modifications are maintained.
  • Site Evaluations: Perform site assessments and inspections to confirm that construction aligns with design specifications and building regulations. Identify and rectify any structural concerns or inconsistencies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the project team to address design challenges and enhance structural solutions. Maintain effective communication with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in structural engineering or a related discipline, particularly with a focus on residential projects.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of building regulations, structural analyses, and construction techniques for residential structures.
