The Content Marketing Specialist will conceptualize, develop, and produce engaging copy that supports the organization’s consumer and business initiatives. Proficiency in persuasive digital and marketing writing, as well as editorial and narrative storytelling, is essential. The ability to distill complex medical and scientific information into accessible written materials, including web content, blog posts, and newsletter articles for varied audiences, is required.

This role involves collaboration with internal teams in Marketing and Communications, as well as external partners. You will work closely with colleagues to prioritize tasks, manage workflows, and share responsibilities to create a diverse array of content:

  • Research, develop, and write content aimed at patients, healthcare professionals, and researchers to enhance patient engagement and staff recruitment.
  • Collaborate effectively with designers to produce compelling, concept-driven work.
  • Translate intricate biomedical concepts into relatable narratives. Create well-researched, engaging copy that informs and resonates.
  • Generate high-quality content that aligns with departmental and organizational goals, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and colleagues across departments, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Engage in a variety of projects that reflect a broad spectrum of industries and experiences.
  • Possess knowledge of content strategy and work alongside strategists to implement strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in crafting impactful content and campaigns, ideally with agency experience.
