We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Intern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified technicians in sample sorting and preparation, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Perform all sample sorting and scanning functions, routing all samples to the appropriate location with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide necessary data for routine reports to customers and regulatory agencies, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Comply with laboratory hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal plan, prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility.
- Maintain analytical equipment according to manufacturers' recommendations and laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP's), ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or a related field.
