Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to develop and implement effective nursing care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and routine nursing services to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care plans.
  • Participate in patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in ambulatory care or orthopedic nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
