Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Communication: Greet and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Support: Perform a variety of clerical functions, including verifying insurance eligibility, copying insurance cards, and completing paperwork as needed.
- Scheduling and Follow-up: Print daily schedules, confirm next-day appointments, and make follow-up appointments for referrals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal records forms and encounter documentation.
Requirements
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical or dental office, with a focus on patient services and administrative support.
- Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish, CPR certification, and experience with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products, business email communication systems, and internet search capabilities.
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
