Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair processes.
  • Work collaboratively with others to ensure timely vehicle repair status updates.
  • Perform high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time delivery.
  • Make informed decisions on repair vs. replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and electrical systems.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to industry standards.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed, providing guidance on complex tasks and procedures.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a frame machine.
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise repair personnel.
  • Pass a thorough background check.
