Job Overview

Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC is a leading provider of emergency services, and we're seeking an experienced Emergency Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to travel to assigned site locations, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs on emergency equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in repair principles and procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform repair work on emergency equipment by traveling to assigned site locations.
  • Troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on equipment.
  • Provide troubleshooting and installation services for equipment.
  • Attend to the needs of customers and provide confirmation that equipment is functional.
  • Provide telephone support to customers for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working condition after performing troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Clean driving record with or able to obtain a Class B non-exempt CDL driver license.
  • Knowledge of repair principles and procedures in all areas of the Heavy Truck Repaired Industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EVT (Emergency Vehicle Technician) and ASE Heavy Truck Certifications.
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location

This position will be based in Lubbock, TX, with travel required to eastern New Mexico. Applicants should ideally reside in eastern New Mexico to service the surrounding areas of Carlsbad and Roswell.
