Position Summary: Benoist Brothers Supply Company is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to deliver exceptional sales support and guidance at our branch.

Role Responsibilities:

The Assistant Branch Manager plays a crucial role in providing sales assistance and leadership to guarantee outstanding customer service and innovative solutions that align with the organization's growth objectives. This may involve engaging with key accounts and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Duties:

  • Assist with HVAC counter sales by managing walk-in and phone orders.
  • Adhere to the company’s promotional schedule and oversee the presentation and cleanliness of the store, ensuring that promotional signage is displayed and pricing is updated accordingly.
  • Support the training of new staff to familiarize them with systems, customer service standards, and product locations.
  • Monitor in-store activities to ensure high-quality customer service and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper management of company assets.
  • Communicate effectively and set a positive example for team members, customers, vendors, and management.
  • Act as a backup for the branch manager during their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the HVAC industry is preferred (2+ years).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to various computer systems (ERP, MS Office, eCommerce, etc.).
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both employees and customers.
  • Proficient in quickly assessing and resolving issues.

Additional Skills:

  • Organizational skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Combination of sitting, walking, and standing, including desk work and counter assistance.
  • Ability to bend, twist, climb, and crouch to access inventory and supplies.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
