We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at White & Case. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the configuration, deployment, and administration of our document and risk systems, as well as custom in-house applications and services.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support for the implementation and maintenance of our document and risk systems, as well as custom applications and services.
- System Administration: Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux-based systems.
- Application Support: Provide third-level support for critical third-party and custom enterprise systems, including DMS and risk systems.
- Project Management: Coordinate and oversee the deployment of solutions, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Vendor Management: Maintain and assist with vendor relations, ensuring seamless integration and support.
- Technical Skills: Develop and enhance technical skills through training, seminars, and education in new server-side technologies and environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree advantageous.
- Experience: Strong hands-on experience in administration of Windows and Linux application servers, including app/web and database servers.
- Technical Skills: Experience with application architecture, including cloud applications and integrations; hybrid and multi-cloud deployments; PowerShell scripting; APIs, including Web services (REST), RPC protocol; application/server/performance troubleshooting; web site management (IIS & Apache); performance monitoring, database optimization, and index utilization.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate work efforts; ability to work productively with a wide range of people; ability to effectively present information to customers and senior management.
- Experience with iManage (Cloud and on-prem): A definite plus.
- Experience with Intapp Walls, Intapp Open, Intapp Activity Tracker: A definite plus.
- Experience with DBMSs, SSRS, Integration platforms - Boomi, Integration Builder, Enterprise Scheduler, API Tools - Python, Postman, R, Monitoring/Auditing tools - Solar Winds, SQL Sentry, Splunk, CyberArk: A definite plus.
