Position Overview

Are you looking for an engaging and rewarding position that will provide you with extensive experience in Technology Management, a diverse array of responsibilities, and ongoing collaboration with leadership and team members?

The Employment Development Department (EDD) is actively seeking a driven professional to become part of the EDDNext Division. In the capacity of an IT Operations Manager, you will work closely with the California Department of Technology (CDT) Strategic Technology Procurement (STP) to oversee competitive procurement processes for project-related IT contracts. Furthermore, you will play a key role in facilitating procurements for the EDDNext Project within the EDDNext Project Controller Section, which includes establishing proposal evaluation criteria, supervising proposal assessments, and serving as a contract administrator.

This position is located at EDD's main office, with potential options for remote work in accordance with EDD's telework guidelines. Employees should be prepared to report to the main office as required, and any travel expenses incurred for commuting are the responsibility of the employee.
