Your Role
You will oversee the comprehensive quality and safety measures at our distribution center, ensuring that all operations align with established standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary expert on quality and safety issues.
- Lead investigations and facilitate root cause analyses to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate the development and application of relevant standards and procedures.
- Educate staff and management on safety practices, accident prevention, and effective work methods.
- Enhance employee awareness and adherence to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, & Environment) protocols.
- Monitor product quality and provide guidance on related matters.
- Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and mitigate health and safety risks, implementing necessary corrective measures.
- Maintain an approved suppliers list through our supplier management systems.
- Keep accurate calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation.
- Manage QSHE training matrices, records, and certifications.
- Facilitate audits by clients, third parties, and regulatory bodies.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in quality and safety roles.
- Experience in management and leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, employment standards, and workplace safety controls.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as GxP, ISO, Lean, and TPS.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel functionalities.
- At least 1 year of experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
- Experience in leading Kaizen events.
