Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to enhance our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of chemical processes within semiconductor capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with field teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to new product introductions.
- Prepare proposals for enhancements in equipment and process designs, alongside conducting relevant experiments.
- Engage closely with clients to design and execute experiments tailored to their specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics, or a Master's degree in one of these fields. A minimum of 5 years of experience in processing, developing, and characterizing thin film deposition is required.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with LAM/AMAT tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of processes and equipment.
- Ability to interact effectively with group leaders or area managers on client sites, with proficiency in de-escalation techniques.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel frequently between various locations as needed.
