We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Medical Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, including those with chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-operative care, and gastrointestinal issues.

About the Role

The RN Medical Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, and intervening in emergency situations. This role requires high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients aged 16 and over, including young adults, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, and intervene in emergency situations
  • Assess acute changes in patients and develop effective care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies
Qualifications
  • Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state
  • BLS certification required upon hire
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date
