We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

This is a 40-hour per week, night shift position. The Patient Care Associate will assist with direct patient care, patient data collection, and equipment preparation and setup. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.

Set up food trays and assist patients with meals as indicated.

Perform preventative skin care.

Assist patients with positioning, turning, mobilization, ambulation, passive and active range of motion per plan of care.

Apply/removes pneumatic sequential compression sleeves.

Adhere to standard precautions and hand hygiene guidelines.

Assist with admission/discharge process.

Provide safe patient transportation.

Orient patients and families/visitors to surroundings.

Ensure safekeeping of patient valuables, including packing and storing.

Checks patients for ID bands and notifies nurse if replacement is needed.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or is a Nursing Student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation or is currently enrolled in, and successfully completes, the NWH Patient Care Associate Training Program.

Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year, based on the title, job description, and location.

This salary range is reflective of the national average and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
