Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Quadrant. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, from initial patient contact to final payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Summarize and verify patient receivables by maintaining accurate invoice accounts and coordinating monthly transfers to accounts receivable accounts.
  • Update patient receivables by totaling unpaid invoices and maintaining record history.
  • Verify the validity of account discrepancies and resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
  • Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit line, and coordinating contact with the collections department.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Billing, preferably in an Orthopedic setting.
  • General billing knowledge with different insurance providers.
  • Full A/R and Revenue Cycling experience.
  • Self-pay collections experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
