Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Infection Control Specialist is responsible for the formulation, assessment, revision, execution, and oversight of evidence-based policies and procedures aimed at infection prevention across the organization.

This role acts as the main point of contact between Infection Prevention and all departments within Home Health and Hospice, ensuring alignment with essential strategic objectives.

The individual will take the lead in coordinating improvement initiatives and will manage and execute specialized studies or investigations in the event of potential epidemics, outbreaks, or exposure scenarios.

Additionally, this position serves as the primary liaison for infection prevention consultants, collaborating with leadership to uphold accreditation standards and regulatory compliance while also engaging with external partners.

On-call: Not Required
Incentives: $20,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in loan forgiveness, and a $2,000 monthly housing stipend for three months, applicable for full-time roles.
