About the Role
Novant Health is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Huntersville Medical Center.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neurodiagnostic procedures and be able to deliver exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities will include performing EEGs and long-term video/EEG monitoring, as well as maintaining clinical and professional competency.
Responsibilities
- Perform EEG procedures using appropriate test strategy, electrode montage parameters, and calibration.
- Obtain relevant information from patient medical records and transfer to technologist's report.
- Perform long-term video/EEG monitoring with scalp and intracranial electrodes.
- Provide accurate and complete management of EEG recordings.
- Assist with technical operation of specialized neurodiagnostic procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Minimum of two years professional experience in neurodiagnostics procedures or a minimum of one year experience in Surgical Monitoring or one year experience in neuro and is registered, required.
- Registry eligible or registered/certified in a neurodiagnostic field, required.
