Job Summary:

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist with FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc., you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine EEG procedures, NCS, IONM-EEG, cEEG, and EMG procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Providing descriptive analysis and results of findings to healthcare teams.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program or an Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • BCLS certification by the AHA required.
  • Well-developed computer skills.
  • Previous experience in patient care environment preferred.

Non-Registered Neuro Technologist Requirements:

  • High school graduate with 6 months of direct patient care experience or one year of post-secondary education or enrolled in an Allied Health Neurodiagnostic Program.
  • Previous experience in patient care environment preferred.
  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Well-developed computer skills.
