Pediatric Home Care LPN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality pediatric home care services in the Metairie, LA area.

This is a full-time position, requiring 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for case-specific enhanced pay rates for 8-12 shifts.

As a Pediatric Home Care LPN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Record clinical and progress notes, and coordinate other patient care activities to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient health information and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Louisiana.
  • At least one year of experience working as an LPN, preferably in home care.
  • Current CPR certification.
