Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned technical employees to achieve quality and service output goals.
  • Manage the smooth flow of work through the collision center, ensuring that work standards are defined and systematically improved.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team of technicians, ensuring that all employees comply with safety regulations and the collision center's safety program.
  • Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems, schedule employees to meet collision repair needs, and ensure vacation and other time off consistent with company policies.
  • Responsible for selecting team members, ensuring they receive required training, and conducting regularly scheduled one-on-one developmental meetings with team members.
  • Provide effective daily communication to keep all team members working toward the same goals, communicate to employees all issues that affect the service center and overall service organization.
  • Partner with the Collision Manager to scale and grow the production of the shop in support of company targets.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of collision technical aptitude or experience is preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience in a collision-focused industry is preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals.
  • Able to effectively interact with customers as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • One to three years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience is preferred.
