Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our fitness studio. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for health and wellness, capable of driving sales and managing a team effectively.

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in fitness sales or a related sales role is preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate personal sales while overseeing a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Experience in managing diverse revenue streams, including memberships and retail sales.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and via phone.
  • Results-driven with a competitive mindset and a focus on solutions.
  • Adept at identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective changes.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and wellness.
  • Strong writing and grammar capabilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent data management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with studio management software.
  • A college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives.
  • Implement a structured sales process to engage prospects in introductory classes.
  • Oversee membership and retail sales operations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure effective team supervision.
  • Recruit and manage all instructors within the studio.
  • Make independent decisions to enhance customer service experiences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures consistently.
  • Coordinate and participate in community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to attract new leads.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
