Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our fitness studio, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years in fitness sales or related sales roles is preferred.
  • Proficient in driving personal sales and leading a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Experience in managing diverse revenue streams, including memberships and retail sales.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.
  • Results-driven with a competitive mindset and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Adept at identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective changes.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and wellness.
  • Strong writing and grammar capabilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent data management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy, with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with studio management software.
  • A college degree is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, including availability for evenings and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives.
  • Implement a structured sales process to engage prospects in introductory classes.
  • Oversee membership and retail sales activities.
  • Manage staff scheduling effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor Sales Representatives.
  • Recruit and manage all instructors within the studio.
  • Make independent decisions to enhance customer service experiences.
  • Ensure the studio remains clean and organized at all times.
  • Enforce studio policies and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate and participate in community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically oversee marketing campaigns to attract new leads.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
