Job Overview

The Rehabilitation Transformation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving ongoing enhancement initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for fostering effective team dynamics to achieve the objectives set forth by the Transformation Guiding Team. Key Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Transformation Specialist is tasked with guiding and mentoring team members in identifying, defining, and validating projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves:

  • Leading multidisciplinary project meetings and workshops to facilitate project tasks while promoting Lean Leadership, innovation, and change management.
  • Supporting departmental leaders in tracking and assessing outcomes.
  • Establishing standards and implementing benchmarking practices to enhance team and organizational performance.
  • Conducting training sessions on Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, change management, project management, and team development.
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement through effective mentorship and leadership.
Principal Duties

The following responsibilities outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role:

  • Facilitating performance improvement and process redesign workshops using appropriate analytical and facilitation techniques.
  • Enhancing processes through established improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Assisting in data collection and analysis to develop standard operating procedures.
  • Leading the A3/IMPRV process and organizing rapid process improvement workshops.
  • Utilizing statistical analysis tools to identify trends and root causes for process enhancements.
  • Guiding departmental leadership in understanding and applying our Value Delivery System through analytical insights.
  • Measuring organizational performance using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Creating process maps for current and future state processes.
  • Delivering training on Lean tools and management principles.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred training in Lean or Toyota Production System.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in facilitating process improvement teams.
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies at an organizational level.
  • Experience in training and instructing on process improvement concepts.
