Job Description

At Takeda Pharmaceuticals, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Reimbursement Manager to join our team. As a Field Reimbursement Manager, you will play a critical role in navigating reimbursement barriers for patients and providers, and optimizing access to Takeda specialty products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive field-based reimbursement education to key accounts, including infusion clinics, PGP practices, academic institutions, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies.
  • Identify and resolve reimbursement issues, and develop relationships with patient access stakeholders to deliver information that facilitates patient access to and appropriate reimbursement of Takeda products.
  • Navigate the specialty product access and reimbursement landscape at a Regional, Customer, and Patient level to optimize access appropriately for Takeda specialty products.
  • Develop and execute local market-based initiatives to educate access stakeholders within key accounts on the value and process of Takeda's reimbursement, support, and education services.
  • Partner with Managed Markets and Sales to lead local level access strategies, and develop plans for communicating payer criteria, PA terms, and updates from RAM/NAM teams to accounts, Sales, and the HUB.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including similar reimbursement roles within pharmaceutical or biotech or account-based reimbursement management.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in specialty business, including injectable and infused products.
  • Excellent working knowledge of evolving reimbursement landscape and the practice management environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to collaborate and partner with internal colleagues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the complex regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in account management, relationship development, and account penetration.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and flexibility to meet customer demands.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $141,000 - $194,700.
  • U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
  • U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
  • U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
