About the Position

This Medical Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated healthcare team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, where we prioritize patient-centered care. As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.

Duties and Expectations
  1. Vital Signs Collection: Accurately record and document patient vital signs and other necessary information.
  2. Diagnostic Support: Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate diagnostic tests and clinical procedures.
  3. Meds Management: Safely administer prescribed medications and vaccinations.
  4. Operational Support: Contribute to maintaining efficient patient flow and scheduling.
  5. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment, patient care areas, and medical supplies.
  6. Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications: Washington State Certification as a Medical Assistant-Certified and current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • Education: High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) with completion of a Medical Assistant certification program.
Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a rewarding compensation package that includes a competitive annual salary range of $40,000 - $60,000, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and inclusive work environment.
