Overview

Oklahoma Heart Hospital is a leading provider of cardiac care services, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to provide exceptional heart care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist with in-office and out-of-town clinics, preparing patients for physician visits and communicating with physicians regarding patient status.
  • Administer medications, perform ECGs, and assist with treadmill stress tests as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Current Oklahoma licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year of continuous experience in a clinic setting, with cardiac experience preferred.
