The U.S. Army offers you the opportunity to enlist and become a certified Interior Electrician (12R). You'll play a vital role in maintaining the electrical systems that power our military operations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and safely distribute electricity within Army facilities.
  • Work on interior electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, electrical boxes, and lightning rods.
  • Test equipment and repair short circuits in wires and faulty equipment.
  • Read blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts and execute repairs.
