Job Overview

A leading food production company in the Accounting + Finance industry is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to oversee food safety and quality assurance programs. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and company standards, driving continuous improvement in the FSQA function.

About the Role

This permanent position involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with GFSI, Sanitation, CAPA, and other relevant food safety standards. The successful candidate will serve as the SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator for the company, leading and managing audits, and developing and implementing SQF systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of food safety and quality assurance protocols
• Ensure compliance with GFSI, Sanitation, CAPA, and other relevant food safety standards
• Serve as the SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator for the company
• Lead and manage audits, both internal and external, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken
• Develop and implement SQF systems and processes, ensuring their effective operation

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a FSQA management role in the Accounting + Finance industry. They must be certified as a SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator, with proven experience with GFSI, Sanitation, CAPA, and other food safety standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Benefits and Salary
