Medical Records Processor

At VISITING NURSE dba Stillwater Hospice, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Processor to join our team. As a Medical Records Processor, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process patient admissions, re-certifications, and discharges
  • Compile and maintain patients' medical records
  • Assemble patient charts and perform medical record filing
  • Follow up on medical record requests and adhere to all Agency policies
Requirements:
  • High school graduate with a minimum of five years office experience or comparable training
  • Business/medical secretarial education or comparable experience preferred
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and knowledgeable in Excel and Word
  • Understanding of medical terminology and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
