About the Role:
As a Medical Equipment Specialist at Parkview Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies. This position involves ordering inventory, stocking supplies, and assisting with procedure room setup and turnover. You will also provide the highest quality of care for our patients through transportation and assistance with endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
- Order inventory and stock supplies.
- Assist with procedure room setup and turnover.
- Transport patients and assist with endoscopic procedures.
- Perform Quality Improvement and Infection Control functions.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent GED required.
- Additional college courses in a medical related field preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Computer related training in a healthcare setting required.
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can work well in a team environment. You should have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds. Continuous education and training to follow guidelines as set forth through equipment manufacturing recommendations and nationally recognized organizational standards are a must.
