The Assistant Center Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Center Manager in the day-to-day operations of our retail location. This includes opening and closing the center, managing productivity, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Personnel Management: Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates to optimize performance.
- Scheduling and Meetings: Schedule work assignments and facilitate weekly or monthly staff meetings to ensure alignment and goal setting.
- Customer Service: Monitor, evaluate, and enhance customer service delivery and satisfaction to meet or exceed expectations.
- Marketing and Sales: Contribute to the development and implementation of the store marketing program to drive sales and growth.
- Financial Management: Assist with managing center financials, preparing reports, and providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Employee Management: Review daily employee timesheets, submit for payroll processing, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintenance and Organization: Ensure the center is clean, safe, and organized, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education preferred.
- Experience: One year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, or a related industry.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites; excellent phone skills; and outstanding customer service skills.
