Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of foam insulation boards and panels.
  • Organize and stack foam insulation boards and panels into units, maintaining a height of approximately 48 inches.
  • Palletize and accurately label verified insulation units, utilizing palletizing materials and stretch wrapping through automated machinery for efficient delivery to storage.
  • Execute salvage operations as required.
  • Fabricate composite panels in a designated offline workspace.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
The role necessitates regular standing throughout a 10-hour shift and walking the length of the packaging line.

Language Skills:
Ability to read basic two- and three-syllable words, and recognize similarities and differences in words and numerical series. Proficiency in printing and articulating simple sentences is essential.

Mathematical Skills:
Capability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's. Proficiency in reading and utilizing a tape measure with accuracy to 1/16" is required.

Work Environment:
This position involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, necessitating a strong emphasis on safety due to the presence of industrial equipment. Employees may frequently encounter fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations, with occasional exposure to extreme heat or hot surfaces.
