Job Summary
We seek a Nursing Care Assistant I - Health Unit Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide support to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as needed.
- Obtain and record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of information collected.
- Administer treatment and personal care procedures, including feeding, bathing, shaving, and changing clothing.
- Participate in teaching activities by reinforcing instruction from RNs and physicians as needed.
- Assist with physical examinations, weighing patients, and applying ice bags.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
- High School Diploma or higher.
