Job Overview

At Valor Healthcare, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Advanced Oncology Healthcare Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC. This remote/telework position offers a unique opportunity to work with complex oncology patient care.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include a generous GFE (Gross Fee Equivalent) package.

Responsibilities

The TeleOncology Nurse Practitioner will function as a practitioner, role model, change agent, innovator, teacher, researcher, and consultant to contribute to the development and management of complex oncology patient care in clinical areas and across services in the organization served.

Requirements
  • A master's degree program with specialization as a nurse practitioner accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education;
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant with primary/specialty Oncology patient population;
  • Nurse Practitioner must maintain a current, valid, and unrestricted license from any US jurisdiction;
  • Must have current BLS and ACLS certification;
  • Must be board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) with preferred certification as Advanced Oncology Certified Practitioner (AOCNP) from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS);
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrate leadership and accomplishment when providing patient care or developing programs which will improve the delivery of care of the primary/specialty Oncology patient population. Must have a specific focus toward the population for 'time to treatment' related to Cancer Screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow up surveillance.
