As a Medical Writer, you will work closely with our R&D Director and Medical Writing staff to ensure the timely completion of conference deliverables. Your expertise in vector graphics and scientific visualization will be essential in creating engaging and informative materials for our conferences and publications.
In addition to your writing and graphic design skills, you will also be responsible for refining and polishing data visuals for marketing purposes and other departments. Your ability to manage multiple responsibilities and timelines in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
Responsibilities- Prepare conference abstracts, including writing, soliciting, and incorporating feedback
- Track deadlines for multiple projects concurrently
- Oversee the final submission of conference materials related to dermatological disease test products
- Collaborate with R&D team members and external clinician collaborators
- Develop scientific visualizations, posters, and conference materials
- Refine and polish data visuals for marketing purposes and other departments
- Minimum Requirements
- BS with 3 years of graduate training or equivalent work experience, or an MS or PhD degree in the life sciences
- Excellent vector graphic visualization skills, including proficiency with Illustrator or Inkscape
- Demonstrable experience independently writing scientific abstracts and creating posters and short oral presentations
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative writing in SharePoint
- Preferred Requirements
- Clinical or scientific understanding of oncology
- Excellent annual salary + achievable annual bonus potential
