Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at American Family Care. As a key member of our outpatient clinic staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Perform laboratory tests, document results, and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Respond to life-saving situations and ensure patient safety.
  • Stock supplies, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or registry.
  • Previous medical clerical experience preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
