Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity to work in a crisis stabilization setting, providing short-term treatment to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of our RN Coordinator and in collaboration with other team members to provide direct and indirect client care.
Responsibilities- Provide routine nursing care for clients, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs.
- Document client information accurately and thoroughly in our electronic medical record.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and medication administration procedures.
- Current LPN license in Tennessee.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, diagnoses, and treatment modalities.
- Experience working with special populations, including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis disorders.
