Job Overview

The Lead Surveillance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a vigilant watch over all areas within the Turfway Park LLC premises and its vicinity, ensuring that all procedural breaches and unlawful activities are reported to the relevant authorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations and surveillance equipment.
  • Thoroughly review all surveillance footage and recording systems to assess the accuracy of reports and conduct investigative analyses.
  • Stay informed about gaming laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Participate in ongoing on-the-job training sessions.
  • Monitor company assets and staff for adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of operational procedures across all departments.
  • Enforce compliance with departmental protocols by observing and reporting any deviations from company policies or gaming regulations.
  • Keep detailed and accurate logs of surveillance activities.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities when designated or when the Shift Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

  • Demonstrate individual proficiency in surveillance operations.
  • Foster positive interpersonal relationships among team members.
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Show readiness to take on overall responsibility for job performance.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in surveillance or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid Racing License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
