We are seeking a skilled Concrete Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Summit Materials. As a key member of our Construction Aggregate division, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of aggregate materials and concrete products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test aggregate materials for gradation and quality properties in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Conduct concrete testing, including unit weight, air content, slump, compressive strength testing, and temperature monitoring.
  • Prepare and record accurate information and reports for quality control and analysis.
  • Follow quality control plans and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in resolving quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous testing/quality experience highly desired.
  • Excellent math skills and ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn company software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and nights.
