Job Description

As a Quality Specialist at Aspen Co-Pak LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality documents, including master manufacturing records, batching and production records, and finished product specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Forms, Work Instructions, and other quality documents as needed.
  • Review and approve incoming labels based on customer standards or customer approval.
  • Organize, file, and maintain documents and records as needed.
  • Assist with supplier approval program, inspect incoming materials, and release them for use.
  • Manage the environmental monitoring program, including pulling samples, reviewing, and tracking results.
  • Participate in ensuring plant-wide Pre-requisite programs are instituted and functioning.
  • Help ensure plant-wide GMP compliance and assist with internal auditing program.
  • Assist with customer complaints, corrective actions, and CAPAs.
  • Assist with GMP training and review production records, test results, and finished product releases.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and procedures, FDA, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and internal auditing.
  • Ability to understand and interpret product quality, specifications, and regulatory documents.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
