About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planner II to join our Test Manufacturing group within the Test Equipment Engineering directorate at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment, including cables, chassis, and electro/mechanical fixtures.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain build configuration and quality history records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Acquire, track, and manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test sets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and overseeing delivery of final products to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment, with a strong understanding of material procurement and supply chain management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required, as U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware, with a strong understanding of configuration control and product maintenance.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation, with a strong understanding of electro/mechanical principles.
