Position Summary
Superintendent
Capital Pump & Equipment is a rapidly expanding pump rental enterprise seeking a Superintendent to oversee and coordinate operational tasks for significant and intricate accounts. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between Dispatch and Sales, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee customer-specific operational tasks, including mobilization, installation, fluid management, on-site adjustments, system disassembly, and demobilization.
- Conduct site assessments to identify operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Dispatch to schedule all customer-specific operational activities, ensuring timely service and appropriate personnel deployment.
- Inspect all work completed at assigned projects for quality assurance.
- Address and troubleshoot operational issues that may arise daily, reporting any incidents or customer concerns to the relevant parties.
- Support sales efforts by providing customer assistance and delivering necessary documentation.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of systems, equipment, rental assets, and applications specific to each customer site.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of hydraulic and filtration systems.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records on-site.
- Understand and adhere to the company's safety and environmental policies, identifying and addressing any violations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or municipal equipment rental and service, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License; CDL A preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Standard working hours are weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as necessary based on customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in leading teams to complete departmental projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to various branches.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
