We are seeking a skilled Baker I to join our deli team. As a Baker I, you will work alongside our experienced bakers to create a variety of delicious cookies, cakes, and pies. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including cookies, cakes, and pies
  • Work in a team environment to meet production demands
  • Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately
  • Stand, twist, bend, squat, turn, and kneel throughout a shift
  • Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
  • Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

**Requirements**

  • Culinary degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with vegetarian and vegan cuisine
  • Professional kitchen and cooking experience
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent
  • Ability to read and accurately follow recipes
  • Self-motivated, organized, responsible, and flexible
  • Regular, predictable attendance
  • Willingness to grow and meet the changing requirements of the job
