About the Role:

Sika AG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Technical Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting, specifying, and selling roofing and waterproofing systems to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the low slope roofing and waterproofing market.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, consultants, and building owners.
  • Product Expertise: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and industry professionals.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding product selection, application, and installation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 8+ years of progressively increasing experience in sales and technical roles.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and expertise in low slope roofing systems, waterproofing products, and related materials.
  • Skills: Highly motivated self-starter with good verbal, phone, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office package, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. AutoCAD and/or experience is desirable.
