Lead Nursing Team at Uptown Rehabilitation Center

As a Nursing Unit Manager at Uptown Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, NM, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of skilled nurses. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and participate in developing strategies to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with Genesis policy
  • Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals
  • Provide direct patient care and maintain skills
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Associate Degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience, or equivalent
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
