Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing field service maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems
Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
Respond to emergency service requests in a timely and efficient manner
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
200 hours of HVAC training or equivalent experience required
Valid current driver's license and driving record that meets company standards required
Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate required
150 Electrical Code hours and 4000 work hours required
Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid EPA certification required
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.
