Job Title: Generator Technician

We are Generac Power Systems, a leading provider of industrial power solutions. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.

As a Generator Technician, you will play a critical role in providing on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, and installation of Generac industrial products. This position requires up to 50% travel, with a fleet vehicle provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, and installation of Generac industrial products
  • Work with minimal supervision to make independent decisions and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Generac products and services
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related mechanical experience and completion of Electrical/Electronic or HVAC program
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution systems, and electromechanical technology
