Position Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Des Moines, IA

Contract Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and rectifies issues with computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Records, updates, and enhances or substitutes hardware and software systems, including desktops, Point of Sale (POS) devices, and printers.
  • Educates staff, identifies, assesses, and resolves product malfunctions, and manages parts procurement and replacement as necessary.
  • Ensures a strong customer focus by adhering to deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).

Is this role suitable for you? (Qualifications):

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in desktop and/or deskside support.
  • Prior experience in Field Service and/or Desktop, POS, and printer Break/Fix services.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a clean driving record is essential (This role involves driving - expenses will be reimbursed).
  • CompTIA A+ certification is required.
