Foundation Health Partners is actively seeking Registered Nurses to enhance our Medical/Surgical team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $36.42 to $60.33 per hour, based on experience and education.
  • Retention Bonus: $15,000 - $20,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 available.
  • Temporary Housing: 90 days of temporary housing provided.
  • Additional Pay: Shift differentials, annual raises, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs, ensuring timely completion of evaluations.
  • Develop individualized care plans, incorporating patient and family input, and adjust as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Deliver direct patient care, coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, revising care plans as needed to meet evolving needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices and contribute to research initiatives as applicable.
  • Participate in the education and development of staff and students, fostering a culture of learning.
  • Uphold high standards of care and contribute to improving nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a valid Alaska RN license and have completed an Associate's degree in nursing. BLS certification is required, with additional certifications preferred based on specialty area. Strong communication skills and the ability to think critically are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred. Experience in an acute care setting within the last year is advantageous.
