As a BMG Supervisor III, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient service.

The position requires a leader who can organize, coordinate, and supervise daily support activities performed by staff. You will be responsible for assuring adequate levels of staff, supplies, and equipment to ensure seamless clinic operations. Additionally, you will assist in developing systems that maximize patient service and provider support.

In this role, you will work closely with management and other departments to ensure efficient and high-quality support and operations for the delivery of care throughout the Bassett Healthcare Network. You will demonstrate a working knowledge of office operations and perform various tasks such as registration, appointment scheduling, answering phones, cashiering, and medical records duties according to departmental policy and procedure.

You will also provide coverage for staff absences as needed and coordinate day-to-day practice operations to ensure patient service that is friendly, helpful, and efficient. You will implement and maintain procedures that optimize patient flow, customer service, and provider productivity. As a role model to staff, you will serve as a primary contact for patients with concerns, questions, complaints, or compliments and document these contacts according to Bassett policy and procedure.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily support activities performed by staff
  • Assure adequate levels of staff, supplies, and equipment
  • Develop systems that maximize patient service and provider support
  • Work closely with management and other departments
  • Perform various tasks such as registration, appointment scheduling, answering phones, cashiering, and medical records duties
  • Provide coverage for staff absences as needed
  • Coordinate day-to-day practice operations
  • Implement and maintain procedures that optimize patient flow, customer service, and provider productivity
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare responsibility with progressive levels of responsibility
  • 3 years experience in leadership role
  • NYS Drivers License (preferred)
